Published on: September 02, 2024

If you have been allotted a seat through state counselling and are considering resigning from your Round-1 seat allotted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), you need to know this important update from MCC.

Candidates who wish to resign from their Round-1 seat may do so from 2:00 PM on 31.08.2024 to 6:00 PM on 03.09.2024 without forfeiting the security deposit, after which they will be considered as part of Round-2 and the rules applicable for Round-2 of counselling will apply to them.

Important Steps to Follow

Ensure that your resignation letter is generated online through the portal provided by MCC. This is a crucial step that must be completed by the college where you were allotted the seat.

If your resignation letter is not generated online, your resignation will be considered ‘Null & Void.’

All candidates are strongly advised to carefully follow these instructions and ensure that the resignation process is completed correctly. If you have any doubts or require assistance, promptly reach out to your allotted college or MCC to avoid any issues.
