The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Cards for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech). Candidates who are appearing for the January session can now download their admit cards from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

This is a crucial phase for lakhs of engineering aspirants across the country, as JEE Main is the gateway to prestigious institutes like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and also acts as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1: Admit Card Status

The admit cards have been released for candidates whose Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) exams are scheduled on:

  • 21 January 2026
  • 22 January 2026
  • 23 January 2026

 Admit cards for candidates appearing on 28 and 29 January 2026 will be released shortly.

Exam Duration: 21 January to 29 January 2026

 Papers Conducted:

  • Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech (Computer Based Test – CBT)
  • Paper 2: B.Arch / B.Planning
    • Drawing section (B.Arch) will be Pen & Paper Based (PBT)

 Paper-wise Schedule:

  • Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): 21, 22, 23, 24 & 28 January 2026
  • Paper 2 (B.Arch / B.Planning): 29 January 2026

 

JEE Main 2026 Shift Timings

Paper 1 (Two Shifts Each Day):

  • Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
  • Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Paper 2 (Single Shift):

  • 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Students are advised to reach the examination centre well before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.

 

JEE Main 2026 Exam City Slip

NTA has already released the Exam City Intimation Slip. Candidates can download it from the official website by logging in using:

  • Application Number
  • Password or Date of Birth
  • Security PIN

This slip helps students plan their travel in advance.
