NEET UG Counselling 2024: Important Notice for Resignation from Round 1 and Round 2 Seats

Hello, Students Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notice for the candidates involved in the NEET UG 2024 counseling process. The notice is for candidates who wish to resign from the seats allotted in Round 1 or Round 2.

 

For candidates who wish to give up their Round-1 or Round-2 seats, all the candidates are informed that due to various reasons requests are being received from UG candidates who wish to resign from their Round-1 or Round-2 seats. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow such candidates to resign. Candidates who wish to give up their Round-1 or Round-2 seats can do so till 05:00 PM on 01.10.2024.

 



Applicable Candidates 

 

  • Round-1 candidates who did not get upgraded in Round-2, can resign from their seat without forfeiture of security deposit within stipulated time of resignation.

 

  • Freshly allotted candidates of Round-2 who joined their seat but now want to resign can vacate their seat with forfeiture of security deposit within stipulated time of resignation.

 

  • Candidates who got upgraded in Round-2, joined the upgraded seat but now want to resign from their seat can vacate their seat with forfeiture of security deposit within stipulated time of resignation.

 

Important Instructions

 

  • Physical Reporting: Candidates are required to report physically at the allotted college to complete their resignation process.

 

  • Online Resignation Letter: Ensure that your Resignation Letter is generated online through the official MCC portal by the allotted college. Failure to do so will result in the resignation being treated as ‘Null & Void’.
