Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2024

Educational Qualification For NEET 2024

  • Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
  • Students who have completed or are about to complete 10+2 or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply for NEET-UG 2024.

NEET 2024 Age Limit

  • The candidate must be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission as on 31st December of the year of joining the course.
  • There is no upper age limit for NEET-UG applicants.

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), or Foreign Nationals.

NEET 2024 Exam Pattern

NEET 2024 follows the pen-and-paper-based test format. The exam consists of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and students have to answer 180 questions, consisting of 50 questions in each subject. You will have 3 hours 20 minutes to complete the test.

There is a provision of negative marking in NEET 2024, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
