The Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) has released the official report for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2024. Published on September 16 on the official JEE Advanced website, jeeadv.ac.in, the report sheds light on the exam results and seat allocation across 23 IITs.

According to the JIC report, a total of 48,248 candidates qualified for 17,760 engineering seats in IITs across India. Out of these, 17,695 candidates secured seats under the JoSAA-2024 counselling process.

The report highlights that the highest number of students passed from IIT Madras zone at 11,180 followed by IIT Delhi zone with 10,255 students and IIT Bombay zone with 9,480 students. Based on this data, IIT Madras ranked first, IIT Delhi second, and IIT Bombay third in the number of qualified candidates. Notably, over 21,435 candidates passed from IIT Madras and IIT Delhi zones alone, which is nearly 45% of all successful candidates.

In the top 500 rank holders, IIT Madras once again led the way with 145 students, followed by 136 from IIT Bombay and 122 from IIT Delhi. This positions IIT Madras first, IIT Bombay second, and IIT Delhi third in terms of top-tier ranks.

• Go to the official JEE Advanced website: jeeadv.ac.in.

• On the homepage, locate the "Archive" option in the menu and click on it.

• In the Archive section, look for the "JEE Report" link and click on it.

• Once you see the list of reports, click on the "JEE Report 2024" link. The report will be downloaded to your device automatically.
